Canada Heights Round 2 British Championship

Young guns come out firing

KTM UKs Shaun Simpson and CAS Hondas Billy Mackenzies swept both their respective classes today at Canada Heights in the 2nd round of the British Motocross championship. Simpson took two dominating victories marking what may be the best day of his career so far. 2nd overall was Martin Barr who also had a banner day with a 3rd and 2nd place putting him firmly in the hunt for his first British title. Veteran Molson Kawaski rider Stephen Sword continued his impressive comeback with 3rd overall. All 3 are looking in great form coming into the GP season which kicks of in Holland in only 2 weeks
Continuing the Scottish domination was Billy Mackenzie in the MX1 class who looks to be bang in form going into Valkensaard, and with Josh Coppins potentially injured for the first Round, 23 year old Mackenzie could be looking at his best chance for his world crown. Brad Anderson piloted his Swift Suzuki to 2nd overall and will be looking to score some good points at the first GP of the year in 2 weeks. Mark Jones came home 3rd after an impressive 2008 so far.
